Not the brown kind, the life-altering kind.
Well...
My roommates had a fight and now one of them left, but not before running up the bills as high as possible and telling no one what he was going to do until the very last bloody moment. Sent a text while everyone was at work and cleaned the place out. So that happened. Great.

I think this special flower needs some of the brown kind under his pillow. And in his shoe. And in his glove box.

I’m pretty sure he can be held legally accountable for that.

Find him.
Kill him.
Judge Judy him.

That sucks, man. Is his name on the lease? I’d think you would have some recourse if so.

Is it worth the aggravation, though?

You should have some legal recourse. Sucks still

That’s what small claims court is for. And if he doesn’t show up, even better because you win the case.

That is why I always avoided roommates. I much rather be broke as hell and eating ramen noodles than to have to deal with others bullshit. I had a roommate ONCE and never again.
I’m now married and have my own house so I don’t really have to think about it. But a buddy asked if he could rent a room for 2 months and I said not a fucking chance.
If it were me. I’d find the best/shittiest apartment you can afford on your own and enjoy your independence. I only lived alone for a year as most of the time I had a live in girlfriend but I’ll tell you what that was probably the best year of my life. I was broke as shit but I had never been happier.

Yep. I had roommates twice. After that I moved into the crappy part of town so I could afford my own place. Best desicion I ever made.

Throw a spark plug through his window, and shit on his elderly mother’s porch.

I’d think that you wouldn’t want him to get away with it.

In theory, yes. In practice? It’s not worth suing anyone who doesn’t have much money to begin with. If you want to get even, you’re practically better off hunting him down and giving him a wedgie.

“I’m now married and have my own house”
This statement is a contradiction. If you are married, then it’s not solely your own house.
;-)

Nah... Find him, give him a wedgie.
Not worth the jail time, being on the run or the mess that killing involves.
